Inviting all researchers, clinicians, and members of the stuttering and cluttering communities to submit clinical and research proposals for poster, technical, and seminar presentations, round table discussions and workshops.
The World Stuttering and Cluttering Organization invites researchers, clinicians, and members of the stuttering and cluttering communities to submit clinical and research proposals focusing on one or more of following topics:
- Resilience and self-compassion
- Diversity and cultural considerations
- The experience of stuttering and/or cluttering
- Onset, development, and persistence of stuttering and/or cluttering
- Biological bases of stuttering and/or cluttering
- Assessment and intervention for stuttering and/or cluttering
Criteria
Submissions will be reviewed for the following presentation formats:
- Poster presentation
- 30-minute oral technical presentation
- 1-hour oral seminar presentation
For one or more co-authors of the same clinical or research proposal - 1-hour round table research discussion
For multiple clinicians or researchers to discuss their respective contributions to a shared topic of expertise or interest with a moderator; all presenter names should be listed on one proposal - 1-hour round table community discussion
For multiple members of the stuttering/cluttering communities to discuss current topics or shared experiences with a moderator; all presenter names should be listed on one proposal - Pre- or post-conference workshops
2-hour, half-day, full-day. Please note that, unlike the other formats, only a limited number of workshops can be programmed.
